Two more men charged in death of man found shot in chest on sidewalk in Atlanta, Nine months after a man was shot and left to die on a southeast Atlanta sidewalk, two more suspects have been charged with his murder.
That day, witnesses said they saw three men fleeing the scene – and police believe they now have the three in custody.
Mr. Dedrick Hale, 18, and Mr. Quinterious Hogans, 20, were charged with murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, criminal attempt to commit armed robbery and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony on April 22, Atlanta police said Thursday.
The third suspect, Mr. Andre Byrd, now 23, was arrested on similar charges in October, police spokesman Officer John Chafee said.
Officers found Mr. David McReynolds, 54, dead of a gunshot wound to the chest on July 26 in the 700 block of Hill Street, police said.
Neighborhood residents reported hearing gunfire shortly after 4 p.m. and seeing three men fleeing the area, police previously said.
The men are being held at the Fulton County jail.
