Chris Pine splits: 'Star Trek' star breaks up with girlfriend of two years, Actor Chris Pine split from his girlfriend Dominique Piek, although it might have happened a while ago. According to Us Weekly on April 26, the star of "Star Trek Into Darkness" and his girlfriend considered their split to be mutual.

Chris Pine is on his way to becoming one of Hollywood's hottest stars, not only starring as the legendary Captain Kirk in J.J. Abram's "Star Trek" reboot, but also taking on the iconic role of Jack Ryan when that franchise reboots in December 2013.

Dominique Piek is a South African model and the couple's traveling schedules conflicted to make it hard to make their relationship last. Pine has also previously been linked romantically to actresses Olivia Munn and Audriana Partridge. Piek was once romantically involved with NBA star C.J. Wilson.

With "Star Trek Into Darkness" about to hit, things are getting busy for Chris Pine and the couple, who have been dating since 2011, felt that their lives might be better by separating in order to concentrate more on their careers. While Chris Pine splits from the beautiful model, don't expect him to remain single for long, as he has now become one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors.
